"Creative Thinking. Redesigning the future."
Succession is a very real concern for every organization — or at least it should be. Here’s the thing — when it comes to the topic of succession, it’s not a matter of if but when. NO LEADER CAN LEAD FOREVER. Failing to plan for the inevitable is irresponsible, but failing to execute the plan is tantamount to leadership malpractice.
Attention all business owners, pastors, fathers, mothers and everyone else breathing; You are a leader at some level. Without an identified successor or at least a succession plan (one that works) in place, you are securing the failure for your organization.
John Maxwell says it best…. “There is no success without a successor.”
Start the conversation; plan with your team and leaders check your ego at the door. This is a part of growth which makes the statement of PROGRESSION not regression. Your legacy and the value of your organization tomorrow has everything with the decisions you make today.
