Very often we come to a place where we feel we are wasting ourselves away. We feel that our worth will be realized in a different career stream. Today, more and more people are dissatisfied with their jobs. And the reason for that is that today, we are at a point in time where you can choose from a plethora of different options and practically make money in any stream. You no longer have to be a doctor/ engineer to be settled in life. More and more people are reaching out to discover new career paths for themselves as there is a rising awareness that today we can make our passion our career. People are beginning to find their spark in life and ignite joy by doing so.
Now as you are reading this, you too may have that feeling somewhere from within you that you too are probably made for something else. It maybe that you want to quit your 9-6 job to open a bakery, or to become a yoga teacher. Whatever be your dream you can pursue it today. The opportunities and scope are endless. But to make sure that this feeling of change is not just a passing phase but one that truly drives you. Let us find out what really drives you. It is time to discover your career drivers. What are your likes and dislikes? Pen down your like and dislikes in two columns. Let these be based on what you have experienced very strongly over the past few years. It is worth mentioning here that at a point in time your career drivers are dependent on your experiences and expectations at the current moment.
Once you have listed down your likes and dislikes, try and map it to a career path that allows you to experience maximum of your likes and minimizes the dislikes. That is how you would essentially land up in your perfect career. And when you take that step, don’t worry about ‘what if it doesn’t work’. That fear may be stopping you from becoming the next rockstar. It will work if you move forward with absolute dedication and faith. And you shall reach a point of limitless success when you love what you do and it flows through you naturally.
