Forgiveness and True Love

Forgiveness is the door to manifesting your true love.
Forgiveness is the door to manifesting your true love. And a big one at that! It may not appear to be this way, but when we do not forgive others (or yourselves), we cut ourselves off from the greatest version of who we are. The flow of goodness stops because lack of forgiveness is a poison. It is said that not forgiving is like you drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
Forgiveness is the key to meaning in a world that seems to make no sense. The unforgiving mind is full of fear, and offers love no room to express; no place where it can spread its wings in peace and soar above the turmoil of the world. The unforgiving mind is sad and often times mad, without the hope of respite and release from pain. It is full of doubt, confused, afraid and angry, weak, terrified of darkness, yet unsure of how to find the light.
When we forgive, we are not condoning what was done, we are simply saying that we are no longer allowing this person or event to rule us any longer…to take up space in our hearts and minds. This clears that space for true love. It is done in strength, not weakness.
