Awakening Spirit

An inspirational look at life and how we can harness the power of belief to gain a realistic and positive view or the way life is for us today.
Dorothy went over the rainbow to find herself and to help her friends. There are times when we feel like there is no alternative but for something extraordinary to happen before we can understand who we are and what life is about. We wander through the forests of injured self-esteem, isolation, and want. Yet the extraordinary is happening today. It is within us, just as it was always in Dorothy and her friends. We do not have to travel to distant lands or fanciful locales. All we have to do is take the time to awaken the sleeping spirit that lies within.
The first step is to remove all those things that pull us back to the past, the unresolved hurts and harm, either real or imagined, the self-inflected damaged caused by self-esteem issues, and limiting beliefs that are self-imposed or created by others. The courage to face the challenges of today is inside all of us. We have the intelligence to recognize the extraordinary that lies within us. And we have the heart to understand what the awakening means to us and those around us.
Next we need to tap into a belief that serves us and allows us to be of service to the people in our lives and the greater community. Understand that we are an instrument to be used to the benefit of self and our fellow persons. A wise man once told me that not to be used is to be useless; what we do not want is to be abused. So we open ourselves up to be used and we find that as we help others, as Dorothy did, we will be well served in returned.
And finally with a new belief system and an awakened spirit know that anything is possible. We have to open our eyes and our spirit to new possibilities. Allow the faith that we have in ourselves and our abilities to guide us into our purpose. We are not victims of circumstance or the whim of fate. We have the ability to make our dreams come true. We may not own a pair of ruby slippers, but we have the power of belief that allows us to see and understand our own truths. Remember, whatever you believe you can achieve.
MAKE EACH MOMENT COUNT!
Warmest Regards
