How to start managing unhealthy relationships.
Have you ever tried to live your life for someone else? and no matter how hard you try to satisfy that person or please them it never works?… then you feel useless, empty and alone inside because you can’t seem to make this person happy or even yourself. I’ve felt like this for a lot of my life in different relationships.
It’s not easy to break away from those feelings or from that person.. especially if your related. So what do you do?
Step 1: (which is the hardest) realize that you cannot make someone happy and that it isn’t your job to! It’s hard enough to figure your own self out let alone taking on another person’s “stuff.”
Step 2: Start living for yourself! (Way easier said then done I know). Pick up a hobby.. figure out how you can reduce or get rid of harmful relationships. Start living life without regrets. Start now!! The sooner you start the better you will feel. The small steps you take will get you to where you want to be.
