These Five Steps to Making Better Decisions will bring you peace of mind and will help you to let go of the fear of making a “wrong” choice!
Step One: Trust in a Higher Power
Know that you are always being guided by God, The Holy Spirit, Your Higher Self, etc. Every decision you make, regardless of whether it brings a blessing or a lesson will be used to help you grow and evolve. There simply can’t be any “wrong” choices.
Step Two: Stop Thinking About It
Make a decision not to think about the choices before you! Step out of your own way and turn the problem over to God. When your mind begins to wander back over into anxiety over the issue, rein it in by saying “That’s not my problem anymore. It’s in God’s hands now!”
Step Three: Set an Intention for the Highest Good
Ask that the decision you make will be for the highest good of yourself and everyone involved. While you cannot know how your decision will ultimately affect another person, or even yourself, simply making the intention that everyone benefit from your decision will make it so!
Step Four: Be Open to Inspiration
Allow for the possibility of options you hadn’t considered. By stepping out of your own way, you open the door for Divine Inspiration to show you other possibilities. You may have only thought there was a choice A and choice B, but there are an infinite number of possibilities available if you will open to receiving them.
Step Five: Choose Peace
When a choice is offered that settles your heart and mind, take action. Even if that choice appears to not make much sense, if it brings peace, you can be assured that it will serve the intention you set for the Highest Good. Inspiration comes without force or effort; we simply need to be open to receiving the answer.
