The Importance of Integrity in Manifesting Your Dreams

Manifesting the life you dream of requires integrity and alignment between your beliefs, words and actions. Are you in alignment?
Manifesting the life you dream of takes commitment to your promises. It requires integrity and alignment between your words and actions. This is important because you will manifest exactly in accordance with your beliefs. If you say that you want to have a particular “thing” show up in your reality, yet your actions are not in accord, you will continue to manifest situations and circumstances that will give you opportunities to get in-line.When you make a promise, you are soon given an opportunity to strengthen your commitment…
I promise to spend more time with my children… work hands me a new project.
I promise to eat healthier… my friends keep buying me chocolate.
I promise to give more money to worthy causes… suddenly my car and home need repair.
However, each time that you honor or break your commitment, you make tiny adjustments to your future reality.
Think of it this way, if a plane sets out with the intention of flying from Dallas to New York, it cannot get there without making many, many course corrections along the way. Intention alone will not get the plane to the desired destination. Each time the plane veers slightly off-course, the pilot must re-align the craft with the correct coordinates. Imagine what would happen if the pilot decided he would rather ignore the promptings of the navigation system, and instead keep flying blindly? Even though he set the intention to get to New York, his actions are saying something different, and he will likely never arrive at the intended destination.
The challenges that arise when you make a promise to someone or something are just like the plane’s navigation system. They are meant to be seen as guides to help you manifest your goal more quickly, not as obstacles to make your path more difficult. Each time you choose to act with integrity between your words and actions, you strengthen your ability to manifest your dream.
If you say you want to spend more time with your children…then spend more time with your children. Carve out time in your busy schedule, no matter what the consequences. If it means you have to push back on a work project, then push back. If it means not watching the football game, letting the lawn go one weekend, or passing up an outing with a friend, do so. Make the choice over and over again to act with integrity, and soon you will see that you have manifested the true desire of your heart.
Conversely, if you say you want to spend more time with your children, yet continue to choose other things, activities, or people instead, you can be sure that the conviction of your desire was not yet formed strongly enough. You must exercise your commitment over and over again to gain enough power to influence your reality.
Today, think about those things which you would like to manifest over the next year or five years. Ask yourself if your actions are in alignment with your words. See if you are acting with integrity, or where you can make tiny course adjustments. Each time you re-commit to your dream fully, and then follow-through with integrity, you bring your future into today’s reality.
