The Single Decision that Will Transform Your Business

Transformation is never more than a single decision away. In the instant we make the decision to transform our business, or really any area of our life, opportunities begin to show up that allow us to do so. Does this mean you decide to transform and then you have everything you’ve ever wanted? No. It means at any moment you have the power to make a singular aligned decision, which is the decision to truly and authentically ask for transformation. This decision sets in motion the exact string of events necessary to mold you into the person who is capable of receiving the transformation you desire. Let me illustrate how this works:

If we ask for our anger to be transformed into peace, situations that trigger us will show up, offering us the opportunity to practice compassion, forgiveness and graciousness instead.

If we ask to transform a particular relationship, everything that isn’t working in that relationship will come to the surface, giving us an opportunity to process and deal with it as mature adults.

If we ask to transform our business, opportunity after opportunity will present itself to us to learn and be supported in marketing, sales, and business growth.

Whether or not we take these opportunities is entirely up to us. The universe doesn’t care one way or another. It’s not giving us a test. If we choose to say no to one opportunity, we may not have what we want, but there are always additional opportunities to take advantage of. When we say no over and over again to opportunities that would lead us to the life we desire, the problem is not that the universe stops presenting these opportunities to us. On the contrary, each day is resplendent with opportunities to improve your life. The problem is we start to lose our capacity to perceive and take advantage of these opportunities, because we have not built our “opportunity awareness muscle.” We become blind to the possibility of transformation, and start to experience the world as a harsh and cruel place, rather than as a matrix of possibilities.
