How to Know if you're Heading in the Right Direction

There is a way to be certain about which direction to proceed - here's how.
If you’re like just about everybody else on the face of this Earth, you’ve probably had instances where you wondered if you were heading in the right direction. Perhaps you’re there right now. Maybe you’ve been going back and forth between two opposing options. Or you’re faced with a multitude of possibilities, and you really aren’t sure which one is right for you. Or maybe you have done reams and reams of research, but you still can’t figure out the correct path to follow.
There is a way to know in which direction to proceed.
How would you feel if you could know, with certainty, that you’re moving in the right direction? Pretty damn good, I’ll bet. Would you feel relieved? Happy? Free? All of the afore-mentioned? Well, you can experience those feelings and the certainty that helps to create them. You can find out with 100% accuracy if you’re going in the right direction or not. Further, you can get the Universe to deliver to your doorstep what you really want.
It all comes down to one word: decision.
Nothing creates transformation in your life like real decision. Now, you might be saying, “But, Shawn, I decide all the time. I make decisions every single day.” Of course you do. However, when it comes to the important decisions – the ones you have to weigh out, that could mean the difference between you moving to an entirely new level in life or not – how well have you been doing? Have you been feeling stressed over those decisions? Anxious? Sleepless nights? Have you been asking other people what they think you should do?
The truth is, when you make a decision and you’re 100% committed to that decision, you can move mountains. The people, resources or ideas to make it happen will manifest, sometimes seemingly out of nowhere. When you truly commit at this level you are making a declaration to the Universe: “This is how it’s going to be.”
When you find something about which you can be passionate and excited, and you make a from-the-gut level decision that this is what you’re going to be, do or have, anything can happen. The Universe will respond accordingly. What about when you’re feeling uncertain? That’s the perfect time to make a decision! Why?
When you’re fully committed to your decision, you’ll pool all your resources, all your effort, all your energy into making it the right decision. And if it turns out to be the wrong decision? You’ll know pretty very quickly that it’s the wrong decision and you can adjust your course! That said, if you don’t make a decision, there can only be one outcome: nothing will change.
Imagine, for a moment, that you’re sitting in a restaurant and you’re very hungry. The waitress brings a menu which to you which you study thoroughly to determine what you want. You settle on the steak. Then you turn the page and the linguini really catches your eye. You can’t decide. You hum and haw over it. This goes on for quite some time and your dinner guests are getting anxious, but you just can’t make up your mind. What happens? Yeah, nothing. (if you’re lucky the waitress will recommend something, but in this instance, the waitress is new and has never tried either dish;-)
I think you get the point. You need to decide. Be forewarned: with time, the very act of not deciding becomes a decision, as well. If you want to experience absolute certainty about where you are going, you MUST harness the power of decision. In truth, the only real way to improve your life, to move closer to what it is that you truly want, and to do so with the incredible excitement and sense of power that comes with certainty, is to decide. In fact, decide where you are, with what you’ve got. If you have to, start small. Take baby steps, even. Just get going.
Learning to be a master decision-maker doesn’t happen overnight. You must put this power to use consistently. When you do, it will grow in you. You can be the star of your own life. You don’t have to be an extra. But you’re going to have to make decisions. Right or wrong, making a decision will get you moving. And you’ll find out one hell of a lot quicker if it’s the right one, than you will by sitting on your ass doing nothing.
It’s not magical. It’s simple. And it works. When you begin making committed decisions, you’ll have exactly…
