Why Is The Law of Attraction Not Working For Me?!?

Why do some of us find it so easy to master the law of attraction and some of us couldn't manifest a rock? What they don't tell you in books...
I’ve been told by some, “Oh I tried the Law of Attraction, it didn’t work for me.” I immediately ask, “How hard did you try?” I usually get the response, “I did everything the books say, I worked my butt off, I worked weekends and holidays, and still no results.” I respond, “Well, there’s your problem.”
We are not meant to struggle. We are not built to act out of desperation. We were put on the earth to flourish in abundance. We were meant to receive everything we need just when we need it. A coyote walks along a forest path until the Source presents the opportunity for the next meal. Until then the coyote lives in the moment. If the coyote works itself to exhaustion, without yielding prey, it only possesses exhaustion, it tires, is not as strong to hunt when the next prey crosses its path. The coyote safely assumes that the Universe provides for its needs.
In order for the Universe to provide us with what we want, we must let go, we must believe to receive. We need to separate ourselves from acting out of desperation. We need to be in moments of gratitude until the Source provides.
Mindful meditation – Practicing mindful meditation benefits and practice….
What is it? Mindful meditation is being in the present moment without expectations, without judgment, with pure acceptance. Letting situations and thoughts pass through your mind without judgment of ‘that’s a good thought, oh, that one is bad’.
What are the benefits? Better health, decrease in anxiety and depression. Decreased ‘wanting’, stress of be in a state of lack. Has been known to change peoples genetic make up and pre dispositions. Decreases preoccupation and obsessing. Aids in being grateful for life’s joyous moments as they occur.
How is it done? In mindful meditation we don’t put labels on thoughts. No bad thought, (thoughts with labels of ‘bad’, lead to depression and anxiety. No good thoughts, (thoughts that are labeled ‘good’, lead to obsessing over the next great situation, where will it come from? When will it get here?
Basic mindfulness meditation – Sit quietly and focus on 2 words that reflect your vision (like, Prosperity/Success) that you repeat silently with each breath in repeat the first word, each breath out the second word. Allow thoughts to come and go without judgment and return to your focus on breath or mantra. Breathe in while saying in your mind one word that represents your vision, breath out another accompanying word that represents your vision. Add ‘I am’ to the beginning of each word. If your words are, Prosperity and Success, your mantra is “(breath in) I am prosperous/(breath out) I am Successful” The phrase “I am” is from the Bible, it represents what God answered Moses when Moses asked who he was. God answered “I am, therefore I am” indicating that we are all a particle of God and have innate powers of creation and mastery over our own lives.
You can follow every instruction and do every exercise in this workbook, but if you don’t let go and slowdown, it won’t work.
If you keep trying too hard, if you don’t relax and have fun with this, it won’t work. The Law of Attraction is not about working harder. Struggling and stressing does not work.
Struggling, stressing, and worrying about getting something, indicates desperation and lack of something. It creates an energy flow around us of scarcity. What have we learned about energy flow and how it affects our global conscientiousness? We’ve learned that it overlaps to other people and situations. We’ve learned that our energetic vibrations are strong and real enough to be measured by a global random number generator. So, you are sending this energy of lack out to the Universe, this energy of working harder, of stress and desperation. What will you get in return? More hard work, more stress, more desperation, more lack.
Our culture has us brainwashed to think in terms of work hard=prosperity. Where does this thinking come from? It comes from big companies wanting more production from less workers. With the work hard=prosperity carrot on the stick. Which I’m sure we’ve all experienced. Have you ever worked harder, stressed over a project, and your efforts have not been recognized? It’s not valued?
When you are stressing and working harder you are sending out energy of lack not only to the Universe but to those you’re trying to impress (remember we overlap energies) like our bosses. Others are receiving energy that is laden with desperation, and feeing from you that everything is a struggle and it is difficult for you. They are feeling your sense of lack and scarcity.
Love interests are receiving energy from you that you are desperate, and lack the ability to be by yourself and be secure within yourself. No one wants to with a desperate person. Not employers, not love interests.
Come up with some examples of something you worked hard on and had nothing to show for the effort:
Have you ever heard the saying “Love finds you when you’re not looking for it.”? The same goes for success and abundance.
Write about some situations when wonderful unexpected things happened:
Can you remember what your frame of mind was before it happened?
Can you remember a time when you were ‘on a roll’ with one success after another? Write about how you felt just before then after the first wonderful thing happened then the next, were you relaxed and grateful? Or, were you stressed and resentful during this time?
When you begin manifesting small things that you are not desperate for, you put it out to the Universe, you include it in your gratitude list before you’ve received it, then it leaves your mind. Why? Because you aren’t obsessing over it. There’s no “I gotta have it! I’ll die without it! I’ll never be happy until I get it!” No, you put it out there and inadvertently trust it will come when the time is correct. It comes and you become grateful and you realize you manifested it into reality. Then another manifestation occurs, then another. These are not things coming into your life haphazardly, you put your order in to the Universe at some point.
We must learn to speak the language of the Universe. The language of the Universe is that space of time that you felt when you manifested the small things. You must learn to use this language in manifesting the large things. The problem is that we allow ourselves to get worked up about the bigger things. Err go the energy of desperation and “I am lacking this”.
“I wish someday I can have this” The Universe doesn’t know what ‘someday’ is. Not the language of the Universe, it just knows the energy it is said with. Can you say the “I wish someday I can have this” sentence without sounding like you’re desperate or in a state of ‘want’? No, someday never comes. The Universe says, “he/she doesn’t have it, I’m picking up lack energy, okay, here’s more lack.”
Better language is “Oh I have this, it’s in my realm of receiving.” Now supercharging that statement with the feeling of knowing it’s on the delivery truck and headed to your doorstep.
The Universe is not absolving you of working. It’s not absolving you of not reaching for opportunities. It is absolving you of the worry and stress. Worry and stress only exists when humans get involved.
As a spiritual being we need to commit to the fact that because we are made from star stuff the Universe holds and supports us.
Everything in the Universe flows without effort.
The Universe does not want us to struggle.
Broadcast out to the Universe a relaxed, grateful for what you have disposition.
See yourself as a spiritual being, THIS IS WHERE YOUR ENERGY LIVES! You must connect to your spiritual self to communicate well with the Universe. (Request my worksheet on connecting to your spiritual self)
Don’t put out a sense of lack, or being desperate, the worst relationships and situations are built on desperation. Even the most generous people do not want to catch your ‘lack’.
Do you make friends and want to hang around those who are always complaining? Who are always ungrateful? No. If you are, that’s unhealthy. If you are around these folks how long before you start chiming in with complaints and ungraciousness? Do you feel great after these conversations, renewed, joyful? Silently bless those people and situations that are negative and move away spiritually, mentally and physically.
All that has happened in my life has prepared me for what I’m doing now. All the negative all the positive has put me in the exact position I needed to be in to accept all the blessings I’ve received and am about to receive.
You are now ready, it’s not a dream, your ideal life is as real as the Universe.
