Make the changes

Can you make the changes to make your life what you want?
Make the changes that will allow you to be who you want to be. Who are you? How do you look at life? Do you spend every hour of every day doing what you want to do, what you need to do, or are you settling for less because you no longer have hope or faith? Can life be enjoyable? Can there be happiness, growth, love, and peace? How do you go about changing the things in life that give you no satisfaction? How do you change the things that bring you despair disenchantment, and isolation?
Life should be filled with growth, community, meditation, love, wisdom, and laughter. How you integrate these concepts and significant events into your life in a healthy way? If this does not come naturally it must be worked at. You must have a plan for every hour of every day to integrate the wonders of life into your life.
We are on this earth for a short period of time. We have phases of life that we must prepare for. What have you done to prepare for being a young person, an adult, a parent,…a grandparent? What do you expect at 20, 30, 40,…..70-80 years of age? Life is more than today? What does tomorrow look like? Have you planned tomorrow with growth and the wonders of life? Can you see you’re first born? Can you see the death of your parents? Can you see your own death? Have you prepared for the inevitability of your life?
How do you evaluate people? Do you avoid them? Do you judge them or do you embrace them? Is it possible that you use them, manipulate them, abuse them or do you fear them? To establish a positive meaningful life you must learn how to love them and bring understanding to them.
How do you approach the challenges of reality? Do you fear it, disregard it, or do you avoid it? Does facing the challenges of life bring anxiety and fear into your heart? Are you an overachiever or an underachiever? What do you personally expect of yourself? Is it enough to achieve the happiness and contentment you want? Or do you fall short? Does the challenges of reality bring your despair?
So many of us are living waiting to die because we are too afraid of really living. And then we are unhappy. Others are working so hard to obtain things and yet still do not find happiness. Still others are lost in their self-indulgence and cannot see or appreciate the value of their life.
Ideally, you would like to be very happy and content. You would also like to have the tools and skills to deal with life’s ups and downs. To achieve this, we must think about our time on this earth and be purposeful in all that we do.
Take the time to play, laugh, cry, rest, work, sleep and be happy along the path of accomplishing your goals. Be patient with yourself. It is your life and ultimately it is your choice how to live it but make sure that in the use of your time your do not waste it on idle activities that do nothing and give you nothing. Certainly, do not waste it on things that will eventually stop the process of growth and maturity.
Read this passage regularly and ask yourself the questions posed. Do they make sense to you? Do they sound important? I hope they do. For there is nothing so precious as your life and every moment is a chance at great growth, elation, relationship, and revelation. Make your life balanced so you are open to these great things. Think about your life. Think about what it means. Make the changes.
