Can you believe it? We are well into the fourth month of 2014! How far have you progressed on your goals? If you haven’t gotten as far as you’d like, re-start today! Remember, “slow progress is better than no progress.”
I want to share with you a few tips to ensure that you will exit out of 2014 with at least 7 of your major goals accomplished!
TIP 1: If you do not have a planner, you MUST buy or create one! Personally, I prefer to create my own planners. I rarely find what I am looking for in stores that encompasses all that I need in a planner; especially writing to-do lists for my roles as busy wife, mom, & entrepreneur! You can find many free calendar templates online, and make it your own. Or you can simply purchase a planner from a local office supply store.
TIP 2: Next, go through each of the remaining months of this year on your calendar, (starting with the month of May), and write down one or more major goals that you want to accomplish in that month.
TIP 3: Go through each week of that month, and write down all that you need to accomplish in that week, to help you attain that monthly goal.
TIP 4: Do the same for each day. (Write down each goal you need to achieve each day, to help you achieve that weekly goal).
TIP 5: Do this for each of the 7 remaining months of 2014, and you are sure to achieve at least 7 of your major goals!
TO RECAP: Each of the 7 remaining months of 2014 should have at least one major goal attached to it. And each remaining week and day of 2014 should have mini goals that help you to accomplish that month’s goal (in addition to your other daily to-dos).
