Most people in general, don’t understand the true value of time. Begin to measure TIME as MONEY.
Most people in general, don’t understand the true value of time. Begin to measure TIME as MONEY. A $30,000 car may equal you 1,250 hours if you make $25hr. Or if you want a new television for $300, it will cost you 12 hours of your life (@$25hr). No one would throw away a brand new car or TV, yet we throw away our time.
As a busy mom, so much of our time is already PREDETERMINED on where to be spent—changing diapers, feeding kids, cooking, cleaning, working (again and again and again), etc.
As a result, it is vital that we spend our time EFFICIENTLY, if we wish to achieve fulfillment in our lives, organization in our homes, and success in our business. Here are a few tips to get you started:
1) RISE a little bit earlier and go to sleep a little bit later. Try using some of this time to meditate, pray, exercise, or whatever brings you a sense of peace and fulfillment. Use the other part of the time to brainstorm your passions (if you don’t yet know what business you’ll create to leave your mark on the world), or to work on your business if you do.
2) READ or listen to audiobooks, YouTube, etc., or any other material that will help to develop your skills in your area of interest.
3) SET GOALS in the morning that you plan to accomplish throughout the day, and set out to achieve them.
4) PRACTICE this habitually! It doesn’t help to only do the latter on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, every other leap year. Beneficial habits done REGULARILY, produce SUCCESS!
“Everything that you are or that you will ever accomplish will be determined by the quality of the habits that you form” —Brian Tracy.
