What do you want out of life?

Finding who we really are. Finding our gifts and strengths.
When we are asked the question “What do you want out of life?” we stop. It is not so easy to answer it right away. The first things that come to mind are “to be happy”, “to be rich", “to be healthy” but in reality we are usually not so sure what really makes us happy. We think being wealthy will solve all our problems and we have such a high demanding life that health does not even become a priority.
We seem to get busier and busier juggling dozens of things on a daily basis that we lose our connection with our very essence; our own soul. We never stop even for a minute to see what we really need and want deep inside. We are only reacting to life not creating our own. (If you do, give yourself a big hug . That is huge.)
Nobody says it is easy to discover what we really want out of life but with some awareness and some tools, it is not impossible either. I believe it is worth stopping and finding the answers before it is too late. We need to start noticing when we feel excited, when we want to have more of something, when we feel peaceful or joyful. Who are we with at that moment? What are we doing? What do we see? Where are we at our happiest moments? These are good clues. No matter how busy our schedule is, we can find time to integrate these powerful moments into our life. This time spent devoted for us, lets us see our own light and our gifts too. How come we are OK not to share our own talents and our strengths with the world? Some even create a whole new or career out of this journey; whatever the outcome is, this discovery helps us feed our soul. We have better answers for our purpose in life. We feel more fulfilled and peaceful.
Nobody is proud to have been super busy or to have had a big title or a super clean house when they are about to die; everybody wants to look back and remember all those happy moments doing the things they love and being with the ones they love. It really matters to take the time to find out who you really are and what makes you happy deep inside to create your own version of a great life: Your Best Life!
