Purpose?

We all have a purpose. But identifying may not always be so easy. Here are some tips to guide you in the right direction!
Like many other seekers in this life, I’ve spent a great deal of time thinking about purpose- my purpose and discussing with others their possible purpose. Just knowing that each individual has something special- a fire inside of them with the potential to affect their external world in a positive way makes life worthwhile.
There have been instances (just as I am sure for all of you reading this) where I felt lost and I just didn’t know what direction to take. During these periods, I usually sit with myself a great deal and listen for that inner voice. Eventually, with patience and compassion, we find our way again and pursue what feels like alignment. I see now that we are simply just expanding from one place to the next. Unlimited.
As I meditated earlier and felt gratitude for being in place of knowing how I want to give to people- how I want to expend my energy, I received precious clarity. This “passion” or “purpose”- however you may want to call it, is not mine. Simply, it’s an energy passing through me. And if I were to choose to “logically” do something else with my time and energy, I’d surely bring on misery and illness onto myself. And that goes for all of us. It’s important that we all go with that river. When we go with the river, we feel relief and peace.
So, how can we identify this in ourselves?
-I’d say it’s the thing you do that – when you are doing it, you don’t notice the time. There is a “timelessness” about it.
You can feel it physically in your body. I sometimes feel it in my belly a feeling of excitement. Sometimes I feel tingles all around. I’m feeling tingles as I write this. That’s always fun J
-You feel happy, inspired and full of energy.
-You are good at it! (simple enough).
I feel that it is worth taking some time and feel what this might mean for you. And I would love to hear about it! In the comments below, list some indicators you have found which have helped you to identify your passions. Namaste ;)
