There's Always A Reason To Be Thankful

Find a way to be happy, grateful and thankful even in the toughest of times!
I used to make it a monthly practice to post a blog at the end of every month listing everything I had to be thankful for within that month. And not only would I do this, but I’d force myself to find 100 things. Seems, pretty difficult, right?
But it’s not really, when you stop for a second and take a good, hard look at not only your own life, but the life happening all around you.
The problem is that most people don’t really do that. Most people are stuck in the negative spaces in life and so therefore, that’s all they really see. It’s so easy for us to complain, speak badly, think negatively, etc. etc. etc. Why is that? I always wonder why it’s easier to be negative than it is to be positive. I think we’re just trained that way from the minute we’re babies to see the bad and think negatively. The good news is that once you realize the opposite should be true, you can work on changing what you focus on.
A good place to start doing that is by looking around at your life and finding all the things you have to be thankful and grateful for. And lemme tell ya, once you start doing this and make it a daily habit … your whole world will change. Gratefulness and thankfulness breed more of the same! This means that when you look around and feel grateful for your life and things in it … more of those things will come your way! That’s how the Universe works!
Don’t think you can find anything to be thankful for? Think again.
Whoever you are, wherever you are, I want you to think about these things …
1. Obviously you’re at a computer, on the internet. That’s something right? Do you know how many millions of people there are in this world who don’t have that?
2. And if you’re at a computer, you’re probably inside where you’re protected from whatever the weather is for you right now. How many homeless people do you come across daily that would give anything to be inside?
3. You’re probably paying for that computer and paying for that internet and can afford to. Again, think of how many people just don’t have money for that.
You get my point. I could make a list a mile long. Throughout your day there are a zillion reasons to be thankful and I bet only a few to be negative over. Why would you choose to not feel grateful and thankful!?
Practice seeing the GOOD. And that’s all life will ever be for you.
There is GOOD in every situation and in every moment. Look out for it so you don’t miss it!
