One Part To Our Wholeness

We are more – so much more – than what we show ourselves to be.
We are made up of many parts in our inner world and in our outer world.
Physically, we have legs, knees, feet, toes…many parts. And each part makes up the whole of our body. All parts fit. We may not embrace fully all of our parts but generally, if we are lucky, all of our parts fit and work just fine. That is our outer physical world.
What about our inner world? Have you ever questioned what on earth made you say what you said, or how is it that you act a certain way in the presence of a certain person?
Our inner world is made up of parts, just as our outer world is, only we just can’t see them. If you called attention to yourself when you are acting in such a way that surprises or baffles you, you would begin to notice that a part of you has taken control momentarily; one part – only one part.
What we do, is not who we are. We are not the voice that spoke in anger. We are not the homeless person on the street begging for money. We are not the executive of the high profile company. We are, under all of the layers of what we do, the observer; the “I Am” at our deepest core.
We are many layers of sub-personalities that make up the whole of who we show ourselves to be. And, we create those sub-personalities to serve a purpose.
There is a positive intention behind every behavior and often it takes gently separating the layers of our inner world to find our reasons, to find our answers and to find our solutions.
