Secret Sauce to Love and Relationships
1. Be the best You. I’m serious! The only way to find love is to love yourself first. That doesn’t mean be vein and all about you; that means take good care of yourself in words and in action. No fair being nice to other people if you’re not saying very nice things to yourself inside your head. Actually go in that mind of yours and investigate what keeps the negative thought in place. Once you begin to understand a little more about you, go ahead and take action to re-program those thoughts. Thoughts create beliefs which create actions. So if you’re not loving yourself, look in the thoughts and beliefs about yourself department to find out why.
2. Once you can be thrilled with who you are as a person, will you attract a likeminded individual. You two will be attracted to each other’s energy. And it will not be a “you complete me” type of thing, because you’re already perfect, whole, and complete. Rather, it will be a, “you’re great, I’m great-let’s do this!” What fun when there’s no set expectations and the two of you can just be…. yourselves. You are both miracles on this earth and worthy just for being born.
3. Relationships require TLC. It’s the little minute things that add up. Your love will remember the daily acts of kindness, or daily kind words over a spontaneous and random spurts of love. Consider spreading out the love over time. Just like brushing your teeth in the morning will be the habits that you create within your relationship to keep it alive. Keep date nights, create adventures and activities that you both can enjoy. Couples that play together, stay together.
4. Love has different stages and phases. What was once the type of love you had experienced might evolve and transform into a new kind of love as it matures. Nurture and treasure each phase. The time is now, the present is all we have, and the love you have today is the love you have today.
Secret sauce to love is knowing that you are perfect, whole, and complete as you are.
