Love and Happiness

Love is so much more than we understand or appreciate sometimes, yet it is the answer to so many of the questions that haunt us.
Some people say love isn’t always enough and that sometimes love dies.
The truth is if it died or wasn’t enough, then it wasn’t love.
True love never dies and is always enough…
Love is more than a feeling.
Love is a being and a doing.
Genuine love has infinite sustain and continues to exist even when you can’t feel it.
A mature lover holds steady and continues giving even when there is no feeling.
Because the master lover knows that it is false judgment that numbs the senses.
But unlike love, all judgment will eventually fade and ultimately die.
And infinite love will once again shine through and be known.
Some people think they have fallen in love.
But love isn’t something you fall into.
Love is something you choose to do.
“Falling in love” is what it feels like to suddenly allow love to move through you toward someone else.
Nor is love the result of a “positive” judgment.
All judgment fades and dies…
Love is what happens when you choose to stop judging.
True love is revealed and therefore felt in the absence of judgment.
Hidden behind even the most positive judgment is something so beautiful and brilliant that anything you have ever seen would but fade to nothing in its presence.
Love is not something you get.
The more you try to get love, the more you conceal it from your awareness.
You can only have love by giving it.
Love is fully given through your undivided attention.
The more focused your attention, the more you are loving.
Attention is the creative force.
To attend means to extend.
Where you focus your attention, you direct your love and extend yourself.
Judgment is simply the act of misdirecting your love.
Relationship is all that is happening anywhere and always.
All relationships are bound together through communication.
It could be said that relationship is communication.
If you are not communicating, you are not relating.
There are many forms of communication but all forms are ultimately one dance.
Communication is the dance of giving and receiving.
Giving and receiving is an energetic exchange.
You can’t deplete this energy.
This energy can only be amplified.
The more of it you give, the more of it you have.
This energy is Love.
Love created you.
Love is what you are.
You were loved into life.
Love made you by extending Itself to you and then loving what It extended.
Love loved you into life by imagining you and then focusing Its undivided attention on you.
Love can never leave you or stop attending to you or you would cease to exist.
If you exist, you are loved.
Your only purpose then is to extend the love that you are as it was extended to you.
This extension of love is true creation.
The only thing you can ever really create is more love.
Extending love is the only thing that will bring you genuine happiness.
Happiness is simply the experience of being aware of who you truly are.
Awareness is knowing.
You can only know what you have.
And you can only have what you give.
So Give Love and be happy.
