Your Life Purpose

Do you know what your life purpose is?
If yes, how do you fulfill your life purpose in your daily life? If not, are you truly happy?
Many of us feel like we are floating through our lives, whether we realize it or not. Some of us think we are happy, but there is always that missing element in our lives. It makes us restless, unable to sleep at night. We think we are moving towards great in our lives but in the end you are just letting outside forces dictate your life. Just like a sailboat, you have to rely on the wind to move. But which direction do you head to, and is it really where you want to go?
To know what your purpose is my friend, is to sail the boat yourself. You stick a motor in your boat and head towards your destination. It doesn’t matter about the wind, you wouldn’t let that steer you away from where you want to go.
The first step is to turn inwards. Truly listen to yourself. I know it sounds simple, but it’s not. Many people I’ve encountered have taken years to get to their purpose.
Ask yourself what your core values are. What do you love to do? Where there any moments in your life where you felt truly alive? Ask these and you will get closer to your purpose.
It is also helpful to look inwards during the darkest hours of your life. What was it that made you so miserable? Note these down and visualize the opposite. Knowing what kind of person you do not want to be also gets you that much closer to your life purpose.
When you discover it, there is no other feeling like it in the word. Your journey is far from over. Now you have to muster up your courage and discipline and live your purpose without compromise.
