7 Tips for Greater Life Success
You are growing into what you want to be, right now, every day. Once you can internalize the things you truly desire, they can happen. Really. Yet, so many of us still don’t have what we truly want, yet. If it is absolutely possible to have all that we truly desire, then why don’t we? I’ll tell you why.
All ideas, new ways of thinking, ways of being, be it a new project, career or health initiative can and will happen. It’s the environment in which you operate that needs to be nurtured. Can an orchid grow in a pot of sandy dry dirt with no water or attention? Not likely. So what would happen if you researched the best way to grow and care for orchids, and got all the tools and materials you needed, and cared for it correctly? It would grow, and bloom, and share its delicate beauty. Everything you want is waiting to happen, it just needs that right space to successfully grow and flourish.
Here are 7 tips for greater life success to create the environment you need to continue and excel in your personal growth and life enhancement.
1. Know what you want. Intention is important, so get clear. If you don’t know what to grow, or why, then you may have a hard time getting started! Clear intentions can light the way through some rough patches, and help you make better choices along the way. Get specific, and then get to the bottom of what those things mean to you. Visualize what it will be like once you can be-do-have these things. 2. Act on those intentions. Once you have some clarity, its time act. You could sit and dream up some lovely goals and visions, but unless you get off your butt, they won’t magically happen for you. If you don’t know what to do next, ask yourself what the first step might be, and take it.3. Carrying the weight of the world one pebble at a time. It’s easy to let the world overwhelm you as you make big changes in your life, so take the time to break them down, and determine which pebble you will carry first and carry it over before picking up the next one.
4. Give it some time. It takes time to let new ideas grow into something fruitful. Some need to be planted like bulbs in autumn; to sleep all winter long to awake when they are ready, while others simply sprout out of the ground instantly. Not all ideas or areas of development are the same; some will need a bit of time to germinate. Let them. And while they do, take care of that environment you had planted them in, so they will have the room to grow and be a part of your abundant garden of joy and prosperity.
5. Weed out the voices of fear doubt (like dandelions, these just seem to keep coming back). Stop trying to kill them off once and for all, they are a part of you, and won’t go so easily. Simply acknowledge them and pull them out as they come up. Get some support with new tools to help you find and clear them from your path. Remember, fear is a healthy thing, many dangers in this world very real. Determine which of these fears are real, and which you are making up.
6. Check your expectations at the door. Instead of holding on to expectations, have a clear intent and be open to surprises. Even though some ideas seemed sure-fired for success, they don’t always take root, and that can be very disappointing. If you look, you may find that other ideas you had acted on before have spread and flourished with little effort. You may not see the success around you, if you are blinded by disappointment from unmet expectations.
7. Ask for, accept, and offer help. All of the things above can be done with someone to support you, cheer you on, and help you stay on course. With all the billions of people on this earth, do you really think you were meant to go it all alone? I promise you, you don’t have to do, be, or have anything alone because there is always someone else out there that wants the same thing as you. Accept help from, and offer help to someone else, become engaged in others’ lives, and grow your circle to an even greater support system as you move forward.
Using these tips can make a big difference between where you see yourself now, and where you can see yourself in the very near future. Keep growing, and being the powerhouse that you truly are!
