“New Year's Resolution to GET IN SHAPE!”

We all want to make big changes on New Years. And yet they never stick. We're missing critical elements. Until now.
Ok, you maggots. Line up!
You’re all here because you’ve gotten soft, lazy, out of shape. And this is the time of year when everyone follows the annual tradition of making their New Year’s resolutions. How many of you out there have pledged on one January 1 or another, to stop drinking or smoking, exercise more, do less of this and that, and all those other things that really are more like “Should’s” than “wants” That’s the first problem with this inane ritual, there’s no real structure, no real motivation except guilt or obligation.
Well, now you’ve got structure. You’ve got focus. You’ve got a coach.
And I challenge you to work with your coach on the most popular of resolutions made—Health and Exercise.
That’s right. Now’s the time for you to make the resolution to get in shape.
And it’s not just your body that needs a workout to get in shape, but your mind and spirit. The whole package.
First off: You got to get rid of that big BUT. I’m talking about the one you keep sittin on instead of moving forward. The big BUT that always gets in the way, like, “I’d like to make more money, BUT…” or “You did such a great job, BUT…” That Big But creates too much cushion and less pushin forward in your life. Get rid of the BUT and what you have left is a “Firm And” (get it? Firm End?… And?… Well, what do you want?)
And while you’re at it, you’ve got to lose that spare tire, all that padding gut that covers up your gut and makes it soft. Your GUT is a powerful tool in making choices and getting intuitive hits. When your Gut is strong, you can follow it down great and exciting pathways, achieve dreams, and make impulsive decisions that are connected to your values. How well can you follow your GUT when it’s all covered up? You want your GUT decisions to be solid and firm, not soft and flabby.
Speaking of flabby, it’s time to lose some of that extra junk that’s slowing you down. It’s probably not in just one area either, but spread throughout several different places in your life. Perhaps it’s elements of your job, or TV, or email, or solitaire that’s making you heavy. Maybe it’s the clutter in the home, or your messy office, or your scattered schedule. Whatever it is, you got to get rid of it. And by shedding that extra crud, you’ll be able to move farther and faster in your life. It’s much easier to reach your goals, and you can maintain your BALANCE. When you’ve lost that extra stuff that’s weighing you down, you’ll get stronger much more quickly, and your movement will get easier, moving you faster and farther than you ever thought possible. And when you do have some sort of setback, your recovery is much quicker because you’re in shape. You can handle it.
By exercising yourself, you also get to Tone. That’s right, create some shape and definition in your life. By exercising your major muscles, like your coaching muscles, your intuition muscles, your curiosity and listening muscles, and all the rest, you get them stronger so that you can perform continually at peak level.
Your heart is now big and strong, and can handle the demands of long distance coaching.
Your compassion is stretched farther than you ever thought possible.
Your positiveness is so strong that it overpowers everything it comes in contact with.
You are a dynamo machine.
Lastly, overall, get ready to lose that WAIT. No more putting things off, but do it NOW. If someone offered you a million dollars, do you want it now or later? Heck yeah, you’d take NOW! If you were in a building that was on fire, would you get out now or later? Dang right, you’d get out NOW! And the same is for making these changes in your life. There is no later. There is only NOW.
NOW is the time to get yourself moving towards your goals.
NOW is the time to start making little changes that add up to big impact.
NOW is the time to have the life you truly desire and deserve.
NOW.
Now, get out there you maggots and give me twenty… Twenty push-yourself-ups to the next level, that is.
