Believe and Conquer

Have you ever gone zip lining and found yourself at the edge of that board and just too afraid of jumping off?

Zip lining to me is an experience. I remember when I was in middle school; I jumped off that board and wanted to push some boundaries. So rather than enjoying a normal ride down the line I instead flipped myself upside, wrapped my legs around the wire and spread my arms out wide.

I personally like to take risks, however…

I came across some recent photos of my little brother, Kristian Alegado, taking a risk and trusting the people and equipment around him. He’s a bit of an introvert and usually plays it safe in life. So seeing these photos absolutely blew my mind.

I could only assume what was going on through his mind.

It may have been that the initial thought of jumping off was just too easy, because everyone else made it look so fun. But, once it was his turn those familiar feelings of fear and regret may have suddenly appeared.

If you feel this way in other parts of your life, here is a way to make that all change…

Whatever it is you have going on today that you’ve always wanted to do, I want you to take a deep breath and just jump.

Because you never know what amazing things may come from that act of simply jumping. Don’t just make a decision actually do something.

Then share with me and to all your friends and family what those amazing feelings, accomplishments, and support you were able to experience.

Remember, we only have one (1) life to live.
