The Little Voice Inside Your Head

Helping individuals move beyond the roadblocks of life...
Even the strongest individuals may need help at times...
It takes a strong person to face challenges alone. Many times it makes an individual even stronger, although asking for help can also be advantageous too. In actuality some of the most successful, talented people had a little help along the way. Sometimes all it takes is a new perspective or a little guidance.
Life can throw you quite a few curveballs. Some of the challenges are easily met with a solution, others need more time and commitment. Still others seem like they cannot be solved and sit on that “to-do” list forever, often forgotten. That little voice in your head sends out reminders, “I should really…” Often times, this voice keeps you feeling unsatisfied or unsettled.
Sometimes individuals feel unsatisfied in their career. They question whether to move into a different industry, whether to try for the promotion, or even whether to start a business of their own. Every person’s quest is unique to them. Finding happiness can only be achieved if they listen to that little voice inside their own head.
That voice may be directing you to a personal relationship that you have been ignoring. Your personal relationships effect everything in your daily life. It could be jealousy that exists among your coworkers, or a strained marriage searching for balance. Maybe your relationship with your children is lacking commitment or strategies. It may be that never ending search for a soul mate.
Other times the voice in your head is not directing you at all. What if the voice is asking, “What do I do now?”. Life can leave you at a crossroads with no guidance. After a divorce, many people feel lost. They feel overwhelmed by starting all over again. These same feelings exist after losing a loved one. Their world came crashing down and now they don’t know how to climb out of the rubble. On a less tragic end, many people become confused after retirement. After working for most of their adult life, now they are in a new stage with new rules.
Parenting can also make the little voice in your head go into overdrive. From the second a child enters your life to the moment they move out of your home things change. New parents question every technique and interaction, while seasoned parents cry many tears when they are left in an “empty nest”. Each stage is an experiment unto itself.
Trying to weather these storms alone can be overwhelming. Sometimes it just helps to create a plan that will get you over these roadblocks in life. Nothing is insurmountable, sometimes it just takes a trusted friend. I became a life coach for that very reason, I wanted to be a trusted friend for anyone who needed a little guidance or new perspective.
