Why do I want a coach in the first place?

What does coaching matter? How can I benefit from having a coach? What will I notice?
Coaching is a relatively new profession that helps people achieve their ideal performance in many aspects of life, career, relationship, health, spirituality, personal and professional growth among others.
Coaching has been something only elite performers and senior executives had access to. Professionals and athletes saw their performance soar with access to coaches and now those results are available to a wide range of people.
Here’s a recent article about coaching that may help you gain insight into the profession and why it matters.

Now, imagine that most people around you have a coach and their personal and professional lives are starting to soar. They are getting more pay raises, more opportunities for advancement or they are working in a job that uses their strengths. They are happier and better off than their neighbors and that is what a lot of people want, happiness and a sense of satisfaction that they are doing well.
What people do now to find happiness isn’t working. Buying more material things doesn’t increase personal happiness, it does fill the garage and storage units full of things and most of it doesn’t get used. Coaching on the other hand addresses what most people really want in their lives and it works.
Think about it. Are you getting the results in life you really are happy with? What is it costing you to do what you are doing now? It costs a lot to be miserable, so why not change it?
