Musings about Being

Excerpt from my journal from an ordinary day.
Today I come to God as I understand him…her…it. I seek to align and bathe myself in the pure delight of his, her, it’s Divine Intention. I know that I know nothing about Divine’s intention and for that very reason I seek it as naturally and rhythmically as my body seeks and finds what it needs to remain alive.
I am privileged to experience being human and that is enough. Failing and succeeding are the same blessing from that perspective. They both are experiences neither good nor bad from the perspective of pure consciousness. I with a small i seek to be celebrated and noticed so that I gain more influence and control. I with large I know that my existence has nothing to do with I and celebrate the oneness that is.
I collectively speaking am thankful for all I have and am. To have tasted humanity and remain connected to my source is magnificent.
From this cohabited place of humanity and divine it only makes sense to surrender into the greater oneness of consciousness so that I more fully participate in the flow of the divine mission however passive or active it is. All the “stuff” of today that I with a small i is thinking about and making plans to do I laugh at the folly even as I participate.
May each day I live in this body provide a greater and greater awareness that I am not my body, I have a body as I have a home, a car and a nice blue shirt which I am wearing today. I AM and nothing else matters. David Ruch
