The Day my Life changed forever

There are so many days in my life that count as a day my life changed forever. The real interesting thing about them is that for them to have existed I needed to be at the right place at the right time. I actually needed to be the right person, in the right frame of mind at the right place at the right time. I literally needed to have said yes to about ten little things and no to six almost inconsequential things over a period of time so that I could be brought to the intersection of a day “that would change my life forever”.

One of the most important ones; how I met my wife. The story has too many twists and turns over a year and a half to notate in this blog. (Ping me and I’ll tell you the story-it is worth it.) If we’d met a year and a half before we actually met, we would not have clicked. If I had not followed a path of the heart over that time we would have never even have noticed each other when we met. We immediately sensed there was something special in each other. It was electric.

Oddly enough I did not ask her for her number the day we met. This probably saved our future as a couple. (I knew I would call her way too soon and mess it up or something.) Several random things we both did made it possible for us to meet again 10 days later. On this second meeting, we became a couple. We have been a couple ever since. I look back at the time before I met my wife and smile. Fate? Maybe not… Living into the Fire? Totally dude. I became the right person at the right time to meet my wife. Life just smiled and danced with me. I love this kind of dancing.
