Try this free exercise: What's working in my life - what isn't working

Knowing what to keep and what to get rid of is an important starting point for getting coached
Take a sheet of paper and create 3 columns.
Title the columns:
1 – Keep
2 – Discard
3 – Add
Now list anything that comes to your mind that you want to keep in your life. Place those in the first column. Think about things that provide you comfort, happiness, safety, purpose, etc.
Then make a list of anything you want to get rid of (discard). This can be anything that makes you unhappy, causes you grief or pain, or makes you stressed.
And in the third column write down anything you want to have in your life that you don’t have presently. This can be things that you had before that you no longer have and also anything new you want.
When you have finished making these three lists take another sheet of paper and create the same three columns. Now on this clean sheet you are going to take what you have written and write down at the top the ones that are most important to you. In this way you will see what are priorities for you in your life.
These lists are about things that affect the quality of your life. Knowing what you do and don’t want in life is a starting point for pursuing what matters to you. Coaching can help you discard the things you no longer want/need and add in the stuff you do want.
I did this exercise myself and I’d like to share my lists with you.
