Some good advice on selecting the right coach for yourself
How to Choose a Coach
The reason I’ve written the articles that I’ve posted on my Noomi profile is for you to read them so you can make an informed decision on choosing your coach.
Selecting a coach is more than just a financial investment you are investing in changing your life. I know I wouldn’t invest my money with a coach unless I felt confident that she could help me.
I implore to you to do your own research. Request free consultations from several of the coaches here on Noomi. That way you can compare their responses and find the one that is best suited to help you.
I think it’s important to not be filled with doubt wondering if you should have hired a different coach. I want you to know you’ve picked the right one so we won’t waste time and can get right down to dealing with your issues.
You deserve a coach who is going to give you individualized attention and approach you and your needs in a way that works for you. I had a biology teacher in high school that used the same outdated teaching plan every year. He was stuck in his old ways and treated all students the same and didn’t adjust his teaching style or methods at all. To compensate for students who would have failed due to his rigid approach he gave extra credit points on every assignment and used a curve so all his students got B’s and A’s. I’m not going to do that to you. We’re talking about your life here not getting a passing grade in school. You can rest assured I will tailor my coaching specifically for your needs.
Also I want you to know that I require my clients to maintain a workbook for the duration of our coaching. So if you are a learner who relies solely on oral communication to process information then I suggest you locate a coach other than myself. If however you are willing to dive in and do the necessary work to improve the quality of your life then I’m the right coach for you.
