An Ideology concept, to curtail crime:
The broken window theory is a criminological and sociologists theory of ways to change urban disorder and vandalism. This theory is based on maintaining and monitoring urban environment. James Q Wilson and George L. Keeling introduces the theory in 1982.
This concept is for a partial elimination of crime. These squatters are view as possible vandals, petty criminals of low level anti social behavior. The theory is an attempt to eliminate society perception of a pre-judge situation of the norms of that society preconception.
