The Secret of Finding YOUR GURU

We are all seeking a GURU ... and they are closer than you can imagine
So many people are seeking … seeking peace, seeking guidance, seeking a path which leads to inner peace, inner acceptance, happiness, joy, meaning in life … they look and look and look ‘out there’ in search of that GURU to create that space to fill ’inside’ …
So many feel like they have to find someone to follow, someone to ‘worship’ and allow them to lead you to the space and place of bliss … as such, they seek someone to emulate, copy, and attempt to become exactly like …
Years ago, I was in the trap of seeking GURU’s to follow … and each ‘teacher’ who came across my path I learned valuable and powerful lessons … and all but two of these ‘teachers’ have fallen, most through the personal violations as a result of seemingly becoming so popular as to have created ‘blind followers’ such that unscrupulous behaviors occur …
In this process, I began to question why I (we, my faithful readers) continued to go out, when (as I discovered) we have ALL the answers inside of us …
WE are the GURU’s we seek and it is those who become guides … those are the authentic and genuine spaces for us to allow our inner GURU to arise … sometimes we just need the proper Guidance Under Real Understanding (GURU).
First – spell GURU – G … U … R … U … Yes, Gee You Are You … YOU have the deep inner wisdom, covered only by the stories and blocks which the experience of life has clouded your ‘wisdom’ … YOU are the GURU the world is seeking … Become YOU, not some mirror of someone else … someone who has discovered and lives BEing their own GURU … finding the guide who will allow you to clear away the blocks and the stories so YOUR inner wisdom may arise and flow in your world … finding the guide who shall BE the space to assist to clear the cloudiness and allow the love and acceptance and space for your authentic greatness to arise …
AND, when you seek a guide, ask that guide a few questions …
- Does your guide also have a guide who is assisting them to be the best? Some guides may have more than one guide … specific people to assist in specific area’s.
- Does your guide have training, specifically about being a guide? Many who guide claim to be self taught and self educated … it works for a few, a very few.
- Does your guide have references and a website? Or is the guidance they offer a side opportunity from a ‘real job.’
In the last few years, I have been blessed to find those teachers who understand that to guide one means creating the best ME that I can be! I have stopped following and began seeking guides who have me become the best ME!
Guides come with many titles – Coach, Mentor, Life Architect, Life Coach, Executive Coach … a title is just a title …
Find the space to allow the best YOU to arise … Guides who create that space are rare and amazing, yet they are out there …
And remember, this is an investment in yourself. You get what you pay for. Many people spend more money to get away from their life (aka … a vacation), only to have a miserable time as they know they eventually have to get back to their ‘life,’ such that they cannot really enjoy the time away … Are you worthy of the investment within yourself?
The last greatest unexplored space is inside your heart … and for many, the greatest journey to travel is from the head to the heart … for when you can move down from living in your head into living from your heart and truly LIVE life and LOVE life from the heart, you will truly find the GURU in you …
