The Art of Shift

Stop changing ... it gets you no where ... today is the time for SHIFT!
We are humans of changing … what you wear today, the food you eat, the direction you drive from one place to another … we change so many things so often that change has become the norm, and has little real impact.
When is the last time you took a self-improvement course, maybe your new years resolutions (do you remember them?) … and out of it you were going to change … and for a short time you did … yet for how many of you did the ‘change’ not last … was short term and you fell back into that old habit / way of life / being?
And what of shift? For where I coach (in my passion), it is all about shift. When shift happens, you cannot go back. For shift to truly occur, a few things have to occur. The first is an awareness of a ‘fault line’ within your BEing. You see a weak area … you are aware of a place of weakness in thought, behavior, etc.. Next “things happen” and your world gets shaken up along that ‘fault line’ and movement occurs. And in this movement, you cannot go back … the weak structures collapse, and are replaced by new structures …
Imagine you are a smoker, wanting to quit … then the doctor says you may have lung cancer … so many have shift occur … instantly … they quit smoking right then … wanting to live creates the shift space where they stop smoking, NOW!
Or you notice you keep doing the same thing, getting the same result, and you talk to and hire a coach, and suddenly you are experiencing a whole new world … you have a undaunted stand for you … and through that stand, shift occurs … and you can never go back. You have actually shifted, and you cannot forget that shift.
This week, take an intentional and authentic look at yourself. Not from a judgmental perspective, but from an inquisitive space. Answer the following questions and see what arises:
1) What am I most happy about in life?
2) What is not working for me in life?
3) How much effort have I done to change it?
4) How much effort have I done to shift it?
5) How long did it last?
If you are really committed to shift an aspect of your life, now may be the time for an investment in actual shift … in yourself … through a coach.
Someone who will be a stand for your shift … as if you are seeking a coach, make sure the coach has training and success in the area you would like to shift … and take shift on … knowing that having that area shift will create a whole new experience of your being …
Much Love and Light …
