Thoughts from the Inside
Today let’s talk about …
Thoughts …
Thoughts create our world … yet we create our thoughts … and with all the thoughts that flow through our consciousness, how do you choose your thoughts?
Hmmmm …. We all know people who seem to always be in a great space, and those who seldom are in a great space. Why?
Are the thoughts we hold on to a choice (or not) … is a new thought always in the wings (or not) … are thoughts really always on their way … can we really choose thoughts … can we just let go of an existing thought and create / let a new thought in … Is it really simple?
Yes, it is …
Friday, a lady called who had experienced my work and the breath work. She was in a mentally tough space, she had thoughts of little self worth and was entertaining the thought of using drugs again … Another thought (AND, we both would say she was feeling that HER THOUGHT was VERY real!!!) … and in a few minutes of conversation, her thought shifted to what an amazing and wonderful lady she is, that she could let the thought of using drugs go … my experience … thought shift happens in a moment, and is sometimes eased in a conversation with another.
Personally, I also know if I can let a thought go, it will open the space for a new thought … sometimes I can’t let them go alone …
We all have thoughts. They are as natural as breathing … and when we realize they are just thoughts which run through us, we can get incredible freedom in choosing to choose the thought. Through intentional thought choice, our experience of the world is created/shifted. It is really that simple …
In the next week, notice the thoughts that you think. Maybe even notice the thoughts you think are real, and the thoughts you think are not real. Either way, recognize thoughts … choosing thoughts … thought chosen … thoughts held … thoughts let go … practice letting thoughts go which do not serve you …
I know a thought is just a thought … if your current thought does not move you forward into the space of BEing well (or well being), shift it …
Yes, it really can be that simple … with a little effort
