I can teach anybody how to get what they want out of life...
“I can teach anybody how to get what they want out of life. The problem is that I can’t find anybody who can tell me what they want.” –Mark TwainIdentifying our genuine wants; precisely pinpointing our desires and needs, is an uncommon occurrence. We may by way manage to chance upon a moment of perceptiveness, acquiring an exact awareness of a particular element we yearn for. However, an inclusive and accurate comprehension of our deepest wants is something we do not casually encounter. To gain insight, perception, and grasp of our desires takes an endeavor. [Hence, hire a life coach]
Thoreau emphasized “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see”, maintaining that it is our perception that ultimately has bearing. Yet, actually seeing is not a straightforward task; it is a challenge to consistently look at matters with insightfulness.
It is quiet frequent that something passes through our line of sight so rapidly that although we are conscious of having seen something, we cannot identify what it was. This is prevalently followed by the response of: [Whoa,] I [like, totally] did not see that. This though, is not an accurate description of what occurred. Our eyes in fact did see what it is that passed into our field of vision; however, our brain did not have the time to process what the eyes saw to our conscious.
This is life. Life is filled with occurrences that we can gain insightful and perceptional information from. But mostly we do not process this information. Events may pass by, but we do not see them.
Consequently we must apply the lesson of vision. It is the speed of life, or rather the lack of our deceleration, that is to blame for our lack of seeing. If we would like to gain perception, insight, and define our needs, we need to take pause. We must begin to increase our consciousness of our actions; to gain a deeper awareness of our circumstances. It is through this that we can begin to see.
It is through the eventual acute sight that you will gain by means of increased mindfulness that you will begin to identify legitimate wants and needs. Allowing yourself to perceive your self and capture a picture of your condition will allow you to start defining your needs.
