One of the fastest and most effective ways to improve your health is to detox. During a detox or detoxification the body rids itself of harmful toxins that are responsible for many of the preventable diseases that most people suffer from today. It is however, a necessary evil that many people avoid because of the disgusting, displeasing and often times uncomfortable symptoms associated with it.
So how do you know if you need to detox?
Depending upon your lifestyle and habits, you should detox at least every 6 months at the very minimum. You can also detox when you are suffering from the common symptoms of sluggishness, fatigue, continuous aching, diarrhea, constipation, and feeling of clumsiness. Other symptoms that are often overlooked are body odor, bad breath, and unhealthy cravings. Rapid weight gain and the incapacity to lose the excess weight can also be signs of having toxins in the body.
Moreover, the toxins in the body are found and stored in your fat cells. For Americans who are taking the usual American diet, a person may consume 70 trillion garbage cans for each cell. So if you desire to lose weight and get healthy, a detox can help you kill two birds with one stone!

2. The lymph glands also play an important role in eliminating the toxins and is a major part of our immune system. A network of tubing carries out the excess waste of the cells from the body to the final eliminating organs. The appendix, thymus, tonsil, and spleens are major lymphatic glands that help the major organs of the body in cleansing and detoxifying, amongst other important functions.
3. The kidneys water and waste from the blood in addition to other functions such as balancing chemicals in your body, releasing hormones, helping to produce red blood cells, etc. You can help your kidney to function very well by drinking plenty of water. It is much better if you drink fresh alkaline juices and purified water. You may take
