Nine Action Steps to Take You
Where You Want to Go
By David Neagle, Master Success Mentor, mentors entrepreneurs to quantum leap their current businesses past the 7-Figure income level in just 12 months. David invites you to download–as his GIFT to you–his legendary “Art of Success” 4-hour audio program. This audio series is a tremendously compelling and comprehensive program that demonstrates–once and for all–that Success has nothing to do with “getting” or “achieving”, and everything to do with WHO we must BE to manifest our greatest desires.
It’s not enough to contemplate change.
You have to take action, and they must be action steps that lead you where you want to go.
Here are 9 of those steps:
1. Make a decision.
We often want a guarantee before making a decision, but that’s not how the Universe works.
You must make the decision first to follow your dream or your goal, and then the path to it will start to appear.
2. Ask yourself what you have to release in order to get what you want.
What do you need to let go of? And what should be taking up that space instead?
If it’s a way of thinking, replace those thoughts with those that serve you better. If it’s reworking your website when you could be making more sales, make the sales instead. If it’s a toxic relationship, get rid of it and bring in a healthy relationship.
3. Determine what you need to believe in order to create what you want.
For instance, in order to make the decision to buy a new house or fly first class, you need to believe that the money to pay for them will manifest.
If you’re starting a new career, you need to believe in your ability to learn and be successful.
Once you determine what you need to believe, decide to believe it, and then hold on to that belief regardless of what anyone says.
4. Take action on the first thing you become aware of.
You’re probably already getting an idea of something to change or do.
This is your soul telling you where to go first.
Write it down and take immediate action on it.
5. Follow that action all the way.
The first action will lead to a second action, which will lead to a third and so on.
Don’t stop until those actions resolve themselves.
You may experience uncertainty along the way, because it may take two, three or four steps before you start seeing results.
6. Realize that your next step won’t be shown until you take action on the one you’re facing.
Just like you have to decide first before you see your path, you also have to take the current step before the next one is revealed.
This is called living by faith and it is absolutely imperative when you’re following a divine path.
Once you get past your initial fear, you’ll start having fun, because life is a constant adventure when you’re guided in this way.
7. Be a student always.
Study expands your mind, increases your awareness and helps you develop your understanding, which is crucial for using these principles.
8. Before going to bed each night, decide what you’ll take action on the next day.
List the six most important tasks for that day, and then do them in order of importance.
Don’t move on to the second one until you’ve accomplished the first.
9. Make sure you have a burning desire for what you want.
All desires must be greater than the fear that has suppressed them. This is common sense, and it’s also a divine principle.
People frequently ask me, “How do I know if I’m on a divine track?”
This is actually one of the ways. If you have a fear that is holding you back more than your inspiration to do something, you don’t have the right inspiration.
To find the right inspiration, look to your secret thoughts. What do you think about but never tell anyone?
If you’re still uncertain, don’t let that stop you. Return to number one and make the decision to follow your divine path.
Once you decide to commit to that path, it will start to light up for you, one brilliant step at a time.
