3 Secrets of Successful People

Learn the 3 characteristics of successful people that you can implement in your life TODAY.
Have you ever wondered what separates people who aren’t successful from people who are? What exactly are the traits that launch these people into the lives and businesses that we wish we had? Of course there are hundred of things these people do to put themselves in those situations, but I believe there are 3 KEY elements that you can implement in your life TODAY that will put YOU on the path to wild success, too.
1. BE OPTIMISTIC
One of my mentors, Fabienne Fredrickson always says, “Your mindset drives 90% of your success.” And it’s so true! If you believe you can’t do something, you won’t. If you believe you can’t have something, you won’t. If you believe you can’t be something, you won’t.
If you are familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know that what you are given is based on the thoughts you send out every day. If you send positive thoughts into the universe and you will get positive results! If you believe you can be successful, make more money, or help more people, you will always be given an opportunity to do so.
If you are upbeat, present, and positive, it’s contagious! Others will respond by mirroring your enthusiasm. And one of the KEYS to your success is who you surround yourself with. If the people around you are mirroring your optimism, you’ll be more motivated to move forward in your goals. What you achieve is a direct correlation to what your peers expect of you. What does your peer group expect you to accomplish?
If you find yourself in a seemingly miserable situation, use your optimistic mind to gain
a new perspective and make the best of a bad situation. Once you can harness not only good
situations, but bad ones as well, you can use every situation as an opportunity for growth.
2. BE OPEN-MINDED
I believe there are three levels of maturity:
1. I know everything
2. I don’t know everything
3. I don’t even know what I don’t know
When you are able to reach that third level, you will be amazed and what you are able to learn. At that level, you realize there is an endless pool of knowledge and you can’t wait to dive in and soak it all up. At that level, you realize you can never know it all, which keeps your mind open and hungry for knowledge.
When you stay open to new ideas, you become an advancing person. At that point you can absorb and implement progressive new tactics, and better understand the work you do and how to do it better. Once you realize you don’t even know what you don’t know, the learning process can begin and you will grow EXPONENTIALLY in your business as well as in your personal life.
3. BE COMMITTED
John Asseraf said, “If you are interested, you’ll do what’s convenient. If you are committed, you’ll do whatever it takes.”
So think about the last thing you wanted to do or change. How did that go? Were you motivated for a while then things maybe just fell to the wayside? I gotta tell you- that used to happen to me ALL THE TIME. That new business idea, that workout plan…all fell away. Why? I was interested… but not committed. As soon as things got inconvenient, I stopped caring.
Be committed to your intentions. Be committed to your goals. Be committed to your dreams. Once you are willing to take a no-excuses approach, once you are willing to do WHATEVER. IT. TAKES…. There’s no stopping you.
