Isn’t it time to discover your own USP! There are people who follow their bliss and do what they love and so can you, and get paid for it!
Are you living a life that fills you with enthusiasm and passion? If not, are you instead feeling stuck or a little confused? It may be time to ask a few questions and shift your perceptions so you can achieve more balance and enjoyment. Life is too short to be content with feeling victimized or addicted to self pity. In just a moment I’m going to show you 3 secrets that will spread the love.
o Have you discovered why you are here and what you have to contribute that will help make this world a better place for everyone? Perhaps your gift is to inspire the world in a way that brings you laughter, and gives you infinite pleasure and joy just doing what you love. Could it be this simple? o Do you imagine what a fantastic day you will enjoy with all of the miracles and surprises that will embrace you with love and joy? Do you hear the birds singing for you outside? Have you enjoyed the hypnotic motion and shifting shapes of the clouds overhead as they dance across the sky? Don’t we live in an astonishing world of beauty and excitement! o Do you treat others with the same compassion you show yourself? Do you feel like you are accomplishing your goals and aspirations, or have you fallen victim to the common notion that work must involve struggle and dissatisfaction, and you are there to just pay the bills and keep quiet?Contrary to what some people believe, there are people who follow their bliss and do what they love. They all seem to have things that they share in common. They really know how to spread the love around and they understand the impact their behavior has on others.
o They commit themselves to being of service and have a spiritual practice or religion that gives them a solid foundation to build their life around without expecting others to believe the specific way that they do. o They ask for help and support when they need it, and receive it with gratitude. o They are thankful for the many blessings in their life and take the time to sincerely appreciate and encourage others at every opportunity. o They have developed self discipline and focus, and expect to achieve their goals and desires. o They recognize habitual patterns that have sabotaged their efforts in the past and refuse to give much attention to them. You can do this too!So what’s the big secret you ask? Again, it is very simple. The 3 secrets below, when practiced often, are guaranteed to bring your life more fulfillment, happiness and enjoyment.
1. Laughter – When we laugh, we give up our defenses right away and begin to see the big picture. My favorite comedian, the late George Carlin, was a true master at this. He showed us his own absurd and strange way of looking at life. So remember to tune in, be silly, or watch a funny video or movie. Life does not have to be so serious all the time. Let it out and have FUN!
2. Appreciation – If you are feeling angry with someone, I discovered that the best solution is to send them love and appreciation from your higher self to theirs. This will take away any feeling of victimhood, and lead to a swift resolution of the situation, whatever it is. I first learned about this many years ago when I was unhappy with my bonus that I received at work. I sent my boss loving energy and the next day I received a voicemail reminding me to come to work that Monday to receive the rest of my bonus. Appreciate everything!
3. Service – When you volunteer your time or give money to a charitable organization or cause, other people’s challenges will seem much greater than your own. This will allow your compassion to extend to causes that can benefit others. Your heart will feel lighter and far more will return to you in ways that you had not imagined. Especially during these challenging times of change, it is more important than ever to help those in need and give them an opportunity to feel the compassion and kindness that they need to feel so they can move forward on their path.
As Mohandas Gandhi reminded us, “the best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Now go out, plant some seeds, and spread the love!
