Is life dancing salsa with me or just bad luck?

Some tips to help understand life turns and for motivation
Many people are familiar with this rhythm; some because they are salsa lovers, others because this is how life dances with their reality. Every time a step forward happens, all the happiness and satisfaction is quickly brushed away with frustration and feeling of defeat brought by the steps back.
Fatalism might be the instant belief that crosses the person’s mind. Thoughts like, “This was to happen and I could do nothing about it “or “I really have no luck in my life, I was born to start over” are common. Usually, hanging on to these thoughts becomes an easier way to deal with failure and frustration. In a distorted way, these feelings are empowering because they allow the individual to not take responsibility for their actions and to drive sympathy from others.
People always have the choice how they want to live their lives. This is no different than choosing black coffee in the morning rather than coffee and milk. Independently of religion or belief, people are born to build their destinies around the free will rule. This rule basic dictates that an individual influences his life path according to his life choices. By any means, I imply that if a tragedy occurs, this would be the individual’s fault but, I do believe that if you have been dancing salsa with not much success for a while you can definitely choose a different rhythm.
The answer is always inside of you, so before you attempt to change anything or move on with a different plan; take your time to do some self analysis. Some helpful tips to start organizing your thoughts:
Do I have a sense of calmness within or am I always looking for the next project?
Do I usually complete my projects and achieve my goals?
What is usually my level of motivation and mood during the day?
Do I know what my life priorities are? How do I feel about them?
How much the external environment influences me?
Do I give myself the credit deserved when there is a good outcome?
Be True to Your Heart
And Your Dreams Will Come True
Stay true to all your beliefs and goals.
Stand tall.
Through all life’s setbacks and disappointments,
your dreams will come true.
When no one else is with you,
and no one seems to care,
just whisper to yourself,
“I am the controller of my destiny.
It’s up to me what comes to pass,
and if I keep my thoughts positive and strong,
my dreams will come true.”
When what seem to be impossible obstacles
stand in your way, just think of all the times
you got through yesterday.
There is a place for you in this world.
Stay on your chosen path.
All the power is within you;
be true to what is in your heart.
Be honest within yourself;
if you are, then you cannot fail.
Your dreams will come true.
