How the Wheel of Life is used to identify your Big Agenda

Use the Wheel of Life to discover your Big Agenda in life - that which calls you forward and into inspired action.
Some artists and athletes were born to inspire. Some politicians were born to lead their country. Some scientists were born to discover the beauty of the universe. How about you? What were you born to do? What’s your Big Agenda?
The Wheel of Life is a tool to help you discover what your Big Agenda is. By uncovering your Big Agenda, you will be more motivated and compelled to take action on the important stuff in your life.
Having observed people filling out their 10 out of 10s (what a perfect 10 out of 10 would look like in each life area), far too many people fall into the trap of creating goals that are not in-line with what they really want in life. Why? Because they haven’t stopped to ask what they want 10, 20, or even 30 years from now.
THE BENEFITS OF KNOWING YOUR BIG AGENDA
Your dreams, your vision, and your hopes for the future are what I’m calling your Big Agenda. It is what pulls you forward and gets you into action on a day-to-day basis.
Your small agenda items are your specific, short-term goals. For example, your Big Agenda might be to inspire change. Your small agenda might be to organize a community fundraising event for a charity of your choice.
If you take the time to figure out what your Big Agenda is, creating and striving toward your small agenda goals is a natural outcome. When you can truly can see, hear, and taste your Big Agenda in your minds eye, you can’t help but take action on the important stuff in your life.
GOING FROM YOUR BIG AGENDA TO YOUR BIGGER AGENDA
To discover your Big and even Bigger agenda, take the following 3 steps. (If you haven’t already filled out your Wheel of Life on Noomii.com, you can do that now. It’s free. If you have filled it out. If you have already filled out your wheel of life and your 10 out of 10s, skip to step 2. In doing so, take the following steps:
1. Fill out your 10 out of 10s by answering the question “what do you want 10 or 20 years from now in this life area?”
For example, if you are defining what you want for your finances, you may write down things like:
“I want to make $200 thousand dollars a year and have $1 million dollars in the bank within the next 20 years.”
2. Go back and review your 10 out of 10s and now ask the question “What I want is in service of what?”
For example, having $1 million dollars in the bank is in service of what? Is it for your freedom to travel the world, create a stable future for your children, build an orphanage in a 3rd world country, or something completely different?
3. Notice how your answers from step 2 lead you to an even Bigger Agenda. Take stock of anything else you notice about going through this process.
HELP YOUR FRIEND DISCOVER THEIR BIG AGENDA TOO
Following the three step process I define above is better done with a friend. Research shows that there are certain mental processes that are done more effectively if you don’t have to write anything down. If you have an accountability or coaching partner, you can ask them to ask the questions I have provided above and vice versa. Answering the questions verbally gives you the freedom to come up with your most inspired answers.
