No More Quick Fixes!

Make lasting changes for your health and well-being by creating your personalized wellness plan. You deserve success!
Did you know that according to the World Health Organization, there are now more overweight people than undernourished people throughout the world? Were you aware that only one in twenty adults engage in all of the top six health behaviors: maintaining a healthy weight, eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, regular exercise, healthy fat consumption, limited alcohol, and non-smoking? And according to the Institute of Medicine, two-thirds of healthcare costs are driven by our daily choices. Why is this you may ask? For one, the demands of everyday life have never been greater. Second, we are faced with an abundance of health guidelines, products, and services which make it challenging to create a personal formula for our specific needs and lifestyle. Third, many people have a history of repeated failures which leads them to the belief that they are unable to achieve optimum health and wellness. Now feeling frustrated, it’s no wonder why there are so many “quick fixes” out there which, ultimately, don’t work. We all have that innate desire to be in control of our health and to feel better, but there is often times a large gap between the desire to feel great and the consequences of minimum physical activity, overeating, and very little time to recharge. Are you tired of feeling tired and burned-out on unsuccessful attempts to look and feel your best? Are you ready to make changes that will last? Then three things need to take place: 1. Focus on your strengths and what IS working in your life, as opposed to problems. 2. Connect your health and wellness to what you value most, knowing why it’s important to you. For example, “I want to eat better so that I will be a better role model for my kids.” 3. Schedule the specific action that you will take (the who, what, when, and where). If you no longer wish to struggle with gaining control of your health and well-being, then perhaps wellness coaching is for you.
