“To dream anything that you want to dream. That’s the beauty of the human mind. To do anything that you want to do. That is the strength of the human will. To trust yourself to test your limits. That is the courage to succeed.”Do you test your limits?
Not just physically, but with your passions.
It might be in your nature or something that you have to consciously think about and push yourself to do.
Testing your limits = Shows great confidence and belief in yourself
Could you imagine going on an expedition to navigate the world or find new trade routes? Well people of the past did.
Would you ever Climb Everest or walk to the North Pole?
Some proved that we could do what others felt would never happen – like when Neil Armstrong Landed on the moon.
Some proved it over and over again like Lance Armstrong who won the Tour De France 7 times. You might be thinking, “He’s an exceptional athlete right?” but he did it again even after battling cancer.
Not all amazing human feats are about winning or being the first they are just people pushing their limits. Like Michelangelo who painted the Sistine chapel while looking up the whole time.
The Wright brothers helped us to fly with their persistence to keep going after each failure.
Most often, “Limits exist only in the mind,” and will stop our advancement only as long as we believe them.
Sometimes it takes watching others achieve what we thought was impossible.
As life changes and as we reach the limits we set we need to see how we can surpass them.
“Know your limits, but never accept them.”
