Uncomplicating

How to make things less complicated in your life.
We complicate our lives a lot more than they need to be. Actually, it doesn’t need to be complicated at all. You might be thinking “But now my life is already a mess!”. Don’t worry about it. There are some ways to uncomplicate it quickly; you just need to follow some easy steps.
Always think positive. Whenever a negative thought comes to your head replace it with a positive one. It might be hard at first but it only takes practice. Sometimes it takes a bit of discipline too. Think about it as if you were an athlete and train every day! In a short time it will come automatically.
Don’t complain. You are like a magnet, when you complain you attract to yourself all the negative charge of your own words. Most things that end up going wrong, begins to materialize when we complain about something.
Do not let anything or anyone interfere and disrupt your daily life. Get rid of gossip, unkind comments and depressed people. Those things are contagious…
Be helpful! Tune into people with positive energy and uplifting attitude. Do not let small things bother you, don’t give importance to them. When we are angry, we poison our body and mind.
Try to live with serenity. If sometimes you feel like you will explode, take a deep breath and count to ten while bringing oxygen to all your body. If you can, close your eyes while you do it and remember a very happy event of your life.
Live in the present. Anxious people live in the future. Bitter people live in the past. Enjoy the here and now. Nothing is ever the same, everything passes. Make your day worthwhile… Do not waste too much time with concerns, they only bring you diseases.
Water purifies. Drink a lot of filtered water and whenever you can, go to a beach, river or waterfall. At home, shower with your eyes closed and imagine that all the negativity is going down the drain. Feel the water cleaning your body, mind and spirit.
Walk barefoot when you can, preferably on the soil. At home, rub your feet with a cream after a long day of work. Scald them in warm water and a bit of Himalayan or sea salt.
Keep in touch with Nature. Have at home at least one potted plant. Take care of it fondly, like you would take care of an animal or human being. They are living beings as well. Besides that taking care of plants and animals is like a therapy and brings calm and relaxation.
Listen to music that makes you sing and dance. It doesn’t matter the style you prefer, the vibration of music makes us alive, bringing out our emotions and opening our channels with joy.
Free yourself! Whenever you can, get rid of the routine and hit the road even if it’s just for a single day. Meet new people and find new places.
Do not let the nostalgia suffocate you, the routine accommodate you or your fear stop you from trying new things. Live the life! Spend more time actually doing instead of dreaming or planning, living instead of hoping. Be fearless! Fear might keep us far from defeats… but also keep us far from victories.
Enjoy the moment! Seize the day!
