Get Back to Being!

A very simple process to get us back to an empowered state of being when things are a little "off" during the course of our day.
So here we are: Empowered, healthy, full of joy, and ready for anything. We have made the choice and done the work to “be” who we want to be… and then something happens, and it all goes away! Life happens, and it doesn’t always turn out the way we want. Sometimes it can be down right difficult. Daily we experience circumstances that throw us off… take us out of the game… and send us into the same worries, concerns, or limiting beliefs we have worked so hard to shift out of. So what do we do when we find ourselves out of our essence or empowerment? Four words… GET BACK TO BEING!
When we take actions from a disempowered state of being, all of those actions work to sabotage the life we want to live and the things we want to create. They take us in the wrong direction, away from our Point B. So… Anytime we are heading in the wrong direction, the first thing to do is STOP. You can’t change direction without first stopping, so when you are struggling with stress, worries, fear, or judgement, give yourself permission to “just stop.” Then you can get back to being. Here are a couple of ways that have worked for some:
1. Go for a walk in nature. 2. Talk to your coach or someone else who can support you in getting yourself empowered. 3. Take a self-care break; a nap, a cup of tea, etc. 4. Meditate or pray. 5. Serve somebody or allow yourself to be served. 6. Share gratitude with somebody. What other ways do you know to get “Back to Being”?Getting back to being means reconnecting with who you are, what you care about, and what you are committed to. Then it’s back to “Game On”!
