Happiness is no Accident

People often fail to pack their success luggage with happiness.

Realize you must prepare for happiness in the same way you prepare for success. Dale Carnegie said, "success is getting what you want, happiness is wanting what you get.” To achieve true happiness you must know who you are, what you want and why you want it.
As you pursue your dreams of success understand success does not mean instant happiness. Happiness is not microwavable. You cannot put success in a juicer, press a button and expect happiness juice to be extracted. Achieving long-term happiness must be intentional. You must have a plan. Above all you must have the ability to recognize “your” happiness when you see it.
Happiness is unique from one individual to the next. Be just as committed to seeking happiness as you are in seeking your success. It may mean looking to a life coach or joy coach to help you find your “happy”. You deserve a life filled with happiness.
I challenge you to be happy. Today perform one small act of kindness for a stranger. Try a genuine smile or pay for someone’s coffee. Now wait for it- Do you feel it? It is that feeling- that is what happiness feels like. That is what you want to stay around long-term. It is up to you to create an attitude of happiness in your life.
Smile at you soon!
