"Doing vs Being"

"Being" is an effortless state of mind. When we act from there, "Doing" doesn't feel that difficult.
“Doing vs Being”
In today’s world, there is so much emphasis on do this & get that, achieve this & accomplish that, learn this & earn that, look like this and feel like that, upgrade your skills and influence people/social media. The society is constantly telling us to do more, get more, achieve more, be more…
Its tiring and very unfulfilling.
There is a state of constantly doing versus the state of being.
This state of “DOING things” is important for our day to day life, for progress, for betterment of life ..I get it.
This state of doing is a state where we tell all sort of stories to ourselves, about world, about work, about relationships, about self, about pain &pleasure etc.
There are thousand of stories we tell ourselves in a day and this state of “Doing things” becomes a noisy place inside our heads. This is the state today’s world is more focused on.
And we have learned to ignore the most blissful place in ourselves…The state of Being.
The state of being is a place where you already know what you need to know about anything. And the knowing is so powerful that it’s the ultimate truth for us.
Have this ever happened with you that life gives you something and you think “I just knew it.” How many of you have this inner knowing about something that “ This is rightfully mine and is going to happen and it’s the ultimate truth”.
That is coming from the place of “Being.”
To make something ultimate truth of your life, both the states are important. But today the world is more focused on “State of doing” than “State of being”.
When we have too much noise in our head, state of being keeps moving away farther and farther.
This post is not intended to refrain you from doing/achieving things, it is intended for you to understand the balance between these two states. Constantly doing things ignoring the state of being (spiritual state) leads to burnout, unsatisfied life.
I am encouraging you to lean towards your inner most powerful guidance system by reducing the noise in your head.
Keep your mind and calendar open for recreation, to reflect and introspect, for solitude, for heart-to-heart connections, for curiosity about life, to feel empathy and kindness, to understand what really matters, to trust the universe…..
….and you will know how powerfully your state of being guides you to achieve whatever you want to achieve by doing things.
