Wellness-Wellbeing

Your overall wellness is somewhat dependent on your individual areas of wellbeing.
Have you ever seen a person who seems to walk through life with a smile on their face, the sunshine in the eyes and an overall light shining from, and all around them? Man, that looks nice, doesn’t it? You see them and consciously or unconsciously think that they must be living a life of wellness, and you may be right!
In order to achieve a true level of wellness, you will want to begin to focus on the individual areas of wellbeing.
Wellbeing can be broken down in the following way:
Career Wellbeing – You like what you do every day
Social Wellbeing – You have meaningful relationships in your life
Financial Wellbeing – You manage your money well
Physical Wellbeing – You have the energy to get things done
Community Wellbeing – You like where you live. Gallup 2020
Overall wellness also includes living a healthy lifestyle. Eating well, exercising, personal development, etc. all help to lead to an overall sense of feeling good – wellness.
If you’re not feeling balanced and you’re not sure why, check your wellbeing elements. If you think you are doing all the right things but something is missing, check your wellbeing elements. If you are committed to living the best life that you can, then do yourself a favor and explore each element of your wellbeing. Work on the ones that need it, and keep the course on those that are going well (don’t lose one for the other).
