Enigma Me This

You're either making a cake or you are the cake.
Unless you know something that I don’t, and I am not trying to be arrogant or a know-it-all, none of us here actually know the purpose of why we’re here (as in born, living, etc), we make assumptions, listen to higher powers, some have voices in their heads, at the end of the day, you do not have legitimate proved intent as to why we as humans are here, alive, etc. Right?
Ride this train with me for a moment, okay?
We also (as humans) do not know how long we have left, right? Not a single person (unless again, you know someone who none of us do) knows exactly what our expiration date is, at all. We make assumptions, we measure our time with supporting scientific evidence as to how to extend a life, but date and time is unknown, correct? At the core, using context only, none of us know why we’re here and none of us know when our time is up.
Please help me out, help me understand…
Are we trying to do the most with our money while we’re alive or are we trying to do the most with our time? Can we buy guaranteed time with our money? Ironically, money doesn’t transcend beyond life, right? It’s not like you get to take your bank account with you when you pass. Money stays, that much we know. Can you replace someone with money?
I guess it’s hard for me to understand people who are defined by their need to make as much money as possible before they die. They often prioritize money over their spouses, kids, health, and life. They watch seminars, read books, spend thousands of dollars to hear how someone else made money and become the very essence of a cult, a money cult. I often ask my clients how they define success and so often they tell me it’s measured in value of money. Have you ever looked up the actual definition of the word success?
I know all about wanting to be financially independent, trust me. I am a two-time immigrant. I know what it is like to be poor, and I know what it is like to count every single penny, go without and watch others have more. So what? I was successful while I was poor. One of the proudest moments of my own life came when I only had $50.00 to my name. I didn’t have a home, I didn’t have a job and I didn’t know where I was sleeping that night, I only had $50.00 but what transpired I considered success, not sure anyone else would, but I did and still do today. What am I trying to say here?
Be it someone super wealthy, be it someone who lives in their car, success is measured by your own capacity for growth and hard work. We all came here without an answer and none of us know when our time is up. The rest is yours to decide. Money won’t save you; fear of growth will not give you the hard work to achieve what you want. You want to waste the only value we have (time) chasing someone else’s dream because it “looks good” be a cake, they look good. I am following your logic here…
If you respected time as much as you respect money, how many times have you gone bankrupt already by wasting it?
You’re either making a cake or you are the cake.
