Begin Again

Be encouraged when you know that God is walking with you even when you feel like you have to start all over again
“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” -Lamentations 3:22,23
“Great is Thy faithfulness, " O God my Father,
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not
As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be."

God’s love is infinite. Do we really take the time to rest in this truth?
God has never and will never run out of love. He has loved us always.
The prophet Jeremiah heard God tell him, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5
Can you understand that?
Before you even knew who you would be, God knew who you are.
Today, I want you to focus on that, and the implications of that.
There is no part of who you are that God isn’t intimately familiar with.
There is no mistake, character flaw, or mishap that He has not already accounted for.
There is no gift, talent, or mission He’s given you that He hasn’t equipped you for.
And most importantly He will never change His mind about you.
He has deemed you loved.
He has found you necessary for the task He has committed to your hands, and yours alone.
Every morning He renews to you mercy, compassion, and love to continue…or to begin again.
It’s not too late to receive His love, to walk in the knowledge of His mercy and compassion. You just have to change your mind about yourself to agree with what God has said about you.
I woke up this morning inspired to encourage every one reading this blog today to begin again.
God has not forgotten or forsaken you.
He wants you to continue and if you’ve stopped, discouraged along the way…
Begin Again.
