This research presents a validated serious game proposal aimed at tackling apathy and insecurity among accounting freshmen.
The study introduces a validated serious game to address apathy and insecurity among accounting freshmen. It assesses the game’s impact on reinforcing accounting principles and examines self-efficacy and motivation as mediators between experiential learning and academic performance. With a sample of 119 students, the study demonstrates significant academic improvement among those who engaged with the game.
